Millcreek Common is a year-round destination, a place for the community to come together for play, dining and shopping. Existing features include a roller skate loop, climbing wall, splash pad, events, music, food and more. The Public Market at Millcreek Common occupies the first floor of the Millcreek City Hall at 1330 E Chambers Avenue and includes a market space, Millcreek Coffee Roasters and Noodle Head Restaurant.

Mercantile at Millcreek Common occupies a space at Millcreek Common and showcases local food, beverage and snack items. We are especially highlighting new and emerging products before they hit the broader market. Our customers include the employees of City Hall and the many visitors coming to Millcreek Common for skating, climbing, events and outdoor market.

How to participate? 

The Mercantile at Millcreek Common will operate under a consignment model, meaning that Millcreek City staff will manage the shoppes with a central checkout. Our consignors are responsible for delivering products and restocking inventory. The commission fee is 25% of sales, this includes sales tax, credit card processing fees and staffing/admin support. Shelving, display items and refrigeration will be provided by Millcreek.

Mercantile at Millcreek is seeking products in the following categories: packaged food (no onsite food prep), beverages, snack items, grab and go, gift items, and limited handcrafted wares of a culinary theme. The first step is to complete the Mercantile application to express interest. If you are selected, an in-person interview and tasting will be scheduled. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and will be reviewed quarterly.

If selected, consignors will need the following:

  1. Execute the contract with consignor terms (75/25 split). Payments will be issued monthly and contract duration is 3 months with option to renew if both parties agree. 

  2. Current W-9 or Federal EIN

  3. Business Insurance listing Millcreek as additionally insured

  4. Current food licensing from UDAF and/or SLVHD
