3.1-3.31 Women’s History Month The Grandview at Millcreek Common. Women’s History Month invites the community to come together to learn, celebrate, and connect through events honoring women’s history, leadership, and contributions.
3.4 Abilities Day with Special Olympics Utah 3pm-7pm, Skate Loop at Millcreek Common. Cheer on Special Olympic Athletes and enjoy a dazzling ice skating performance at 6pm. The speed skating invitational begins at 6:15pm.
3.14 International Dry Tooling Competition 10am-6pm, Millcreek Common Climbing Wall. The name of the game is speed! Join us at the Millcreek Common dry tooling wall to watch dry tooling athletes from around the globe compete. Come cheer on Team USA and all the other world-class athletes as they race toward dry-tooling glory.
3.18 Prize Bingo: Get Lucky with Bingo! 6:30-8:30pm, The Grandview @ Millcreek Common Join your favorite Millcreek bingo hosts, Shannanigans, Melons, and Big Bad Bill for a chance to win a 40-inch Smart TV. Let’s see who’s got the luck of the Irish! Doors open at 6:30 pm, games run from 7:00-8:30 pm. Everyone can play; the suggested donation is $5 per card.
3.21 Join the Millcreek Arts Council on March 21st for a free art class! Explore with watercolors! In this 2 hour beginner/intermediate watercolor class we will learn basic wet on wet techniques, how to glaze (layer), and how to use masking fluid in order to achieve negative (white) spaces. We will have several reference options to paint and create a piece you enjoy but will be learning specifically how to paint this sky and beach landscape scene from a Terry Harrison tutorial. 3.28 Doxie Derby 2-7pm, Millcreek Common Plaza. The Doxie Derby returns…bigger, better, and setting new records in wiener dog racing. Local Dachshunds (aka Wiener Dogs, aka Doxies) will race for glory, prizes, and belly rubs at this friendly competition on the 75-foot track. More viewing opportunities this year. Register your Wiener at MillcreekCommon.org. Spectator tickets $5/per person, kids 2 and under are free.

Dry tooling is available Fridays and Saturdays from 11am - sundown. Access to the wall is $7 with an equipment rental of $5. Those using private equipment must have tethered axes, crampons for climbing on the kick-wall or climbing shoes for the non-kick wall & a climbing helmet.

After last year's howling success, the Doxie Derby returns…bigger, better, and setting new records in wiener dog racing.
The race is open to Dachshund breeds racing for glory, prizes and belly rubs at this friendly competition on the 75-foot track. Is your wiener a winner?
Don your Derby attire, celebrate the end of winter, and join us for an unforgettable race.
In 2026, we’ll increase the number of racing dogs to 250! Let's go, UTAH!
With more screens, bleachers and viewing opportunities, we are ready to race at Millcreek Common.

Alpenglobe Rental
Enjoy a private Alpenglobe for up to 9 adults at Millcreek Common—a cozy, transparent dome that serves as the perfect home base during your skating session.
Rental Duration
Each rental is 90 minutes and begins and ends with the public ice skating session times.
Arrival & Departure
Guests may check in up to 15 minutes before their session and must fully vacate the Alpenglobe within 15 minutes after the session ends.
Choose Your Globe
Select from The Spruce, The Aspen, or The Willow. Refer to the map here and choose your preferred globe when booking.
Check-In Instructions
Please check in at the Granite Credit Union Adventure Hub before your session. Staff will guide you to your selected Alpenglobe.
Price: $100 per session
Important InformationAlpenglobe rentals do not include ice skating tickets.
Renting an Alpenglobe does not guarantee skating ticket availability.
Purchase skating tickets here.
Food and ice skates are allowed inside the globes.
Alcohol is permitted inside the Alpenglobes but is not allowed anywhere on the plaza outside of the globes.
Smoking and vaping are prohibited.
Guests must remove all trash before leaving.
