Skate + Splash
Roll through Utah’s largest outdoor Skate Loop, enjoy weekday free play, and cool off at the Splash Pad.

Millcreek Common is home to Utah’s largest outdoor Skate Loop, with roller skating in warmer months and ice skating in winter.
Hours & Activities
Free Play / General Use:
Bikes, scooters, and non-motorized toys are welcome before traditional roller skating hours.
Monday–Friday until 1 PM
Saturday–Sunday until 11 AM
Traditional Roller Skating:
Monday–Friday: 1 PM–10 PM
Saturday–Sunday: 11 AM–10 PM
During traditional roller skating hours, only inline skates and quad skates are allowed on the Skate Loop. Bikes and scooters are not permitted during business hours.
Skating Classes
Free skating classes are offered twice a week.
Beginner Skate with SparKill
Mondays • 6 PMNew to skating or want to brush up on the basics? Join SparKill for beginner roller skate lessons, which are free with skate admission.
Skating Skills & Dance
Wednesdays • 8 PM
Learn new skate skills, fun tricks, and unique dance moves with Millcreek’s Skate Loop Legends. Classes are free with skate admission.(No Class on 6/24)
Splash Pad
Cool off at the public Splash Pad on the south end of Millcreek Common, next to Millcreek Pizza House and Normal Ice Cream Truck; open daily from 10 AM–10 PM with three first-come, first-served gazebos, tables, and chairs, and guests are welcome to bring their own supplies.

Quad skate rentals are available at the Granite Credit Union Adventure Hub in sizes Toddler 8 through Adult 16. Guests are also welcome to bring their own skates.

Climb to the top of Utah’s tallest outdoor climbing wall. All ages and ability levels are welcome, and staff are available to help you get started.

Daily: 11 AM–9 PM
Session Information
Climbing sessions are 60 minutes
Sessions begin at the top of each hour
Each session is limited to 12 climbers
Additional sessions may be booked if you would like to climb longer than 60 minutes.

Requirements & Policies
Climbing shoes are required.
Climbers must weigh between 30 and 300 pounds to use auto belays.
Climbers ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Climbing waivers must be renewed annually.

From classic margherita and pepperoni to favorites like the “Little Mizz Figgy” and “Sassy BBQ Chick,” there’s something for every pizza lover. Located at the southeast end of the Common, Normal serves craft soft serve, floats, matcha drinks, and rotating seasonal flavors. Grab a composed cone, root beer float, or nostalgic frozen treat while you stroll the plaza.

SUMMER AT MILLCREEK COMMON
Make the most of long days at the Common with camps, Playtivities, Sunday markets, free fitness, and seasonal events.
Summer Camp

Early drop-off available starting at 8:30 AMSpend your summer mornings laughing, learning, and making new friends at Summer Day Camp at Millcreek Common! This fun-filled, half-day camp offers the perfect mix of play, creativity, and adventure, while keeping afternoons free for rest and summer fun.
Camps run simultaneously for two age groups:
Each group enjoys age-appropriate activities led by experienced staff, ensuring a safe, engaging, and memorable camp experience for every camper.

Enrollment is by week, but feel free to join us for more than one week.
Campers will learn the basics of skating and climbing every day in a friendly and encouraging environment. They will also participate in other fun and educational activities.
There is no camp the week of June 29th - July 3rd and July 20th - July 24th.

Phase 1 is complete! Come skate, eat, shop, climb, and see the new Millcreek City Hall.
Phase 2 will focus on mixed-use development, a mini golf course, and landscaping that will bring out the existing beauty that Millcreek has to offer.
